How far in advance should I book my convertible?
We recommend booking at least 7-14 days ahead, especially during Cape Town’s peak season (December-February) and weekends. Our most popular models get snapped up quickly because there’s nothing quite like cruising the coast with the top down.
What's included in my rental price?
Your quoted price includes the vehicle, comprehensive insurance, 150km per day, and basic roadside assistance. Additional kilometers are charged at R12 per km. The only other costs are fuel (returned with the same level) and our optional R500 door-to-door delivery service.
Where do I collect my convertible?

What happens if it rains during my rental?
Cape Town weather can surprise you! All our convertibles have excellent weatherproof soft or hard tops that go up in seconds. Many clients actually love the dramatic mountain views when storm clouds roll in – still stunning, just different.
Do I need special insurance to drive a convertible?
Not at all. Our comprehensive insurance covers you completely. We just need a valid driver’s license (held for at least 2 years) and a credit card for the security deposit. Our team explains everything clearly during handover.
What if I want to extend my rental period?
Just give us a call! If the vehicle isn’t booked by another client, we’re happy to extend your adventure. We understand that Cape Town has a way of making you want to stay longer than planned.
Can I take the convertible outside of Cape Town?
Yes, you can explore anywhere in the Western Cape – from Hermanus whale watching to Stellenbosch wine farms. Check out our Suggested Routes page for some of the all-time favorite scenic routes that are perfect for convertible driving. Just let us know your planned routes and we can provide additional insider tips.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens, and weather changes. You can cancel up to 48 hours before pickup for a full refund. Between 24-48 hours, there’s a 50% charge. Less than 24 hours is non-refundable, but we’ll work with you if there are genuine emergencies.
Are your convertibles automatic or manual?
Most of our fleet features automatic transmissions because they’re easier to enjoy while taking in Cape Town’s scenery. We do have some manual options for driving enthusiasts – just specify your preference when booking.
What's the age requirement for drivers?
Primary driver must be 23-70 years old with a clean driving record. Additional drivers can be added for R150 per person and must meet the same requirements. All drivers need to be present during vehicle handover with valid licenses.
